About us
Firefly Dobermans was founded by Kristin Davis and Miriam (Meejin) Pike. We have been friends and Doberman enthusiasts for years. We aspire to be top quality breeders of Dobermans who can succeed in the conformation ring as well as other performance areas, but it is also important that we provide loving, loyal, healthy pets to good family homes. We plan to concentrate on longevity and health along with conformation, performance and temperment. All of these aspects are equally important to us. We strive to create a correct, versatile, healthy Doberman.
We try to stay involved in the dog community as much as possible. Kristin and Meejin regularly volunteer for rescue organizations. Meejin is very active in both the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club and the Cavalier Doberman Pinscher Club. Meejin is the current Vice President of the GFKC, is a handling class instructor for the GFKC, and is the 2010 Sanctioned B/OB Match Chair. Meejin is a member of the Show Committee for the CDPC and is also a member of the DPCA. Kristin is also a member of the GFKC and has applied for membership to the CDPC and DPCA.
