About us
Firefly Dobermans was founded by Kristin Davis and Miriam "Meejin" Pike. We have been friends and Doberman enthusiasts for years. We aspire to be top quality breeders of Dobermans who can succeed in the conformation ring as well as other performance areas, but it is also important that we provide loving, loyal, healthy pets to good family homes. We plan to concentrate on longevity and health along with conformation, performance and temperment. All of these aspects are equally important to us. We strive to create a correct, versatile, healthy Doberman.
We try to stay involved in the dog community as much as possible. Kristin and Meejin regularly volunteer for rescue organizations. Meejin is very active in both the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club and the Cavalier Doberman Pinscher Club. Meejin is the current President of the GFKC, handling class instructor, and AKC Sanctioned B/OB/Rally Match Chair. Meejin was also the CDPC 2010-2011 Specialty Show Chair and is a member of the DPCA (Doberman Pinscher Club of America), HRKC (Hampton Roads Kennel Club), ODC (Ohio Doberman Club), and OCCH (Orange County Coon Hunters). Kristin is also a member of the GFKC, CDPC, and DPCA.
